Skoda Octavia RS pre-bookings open!

We first saw the official glimpse of the Skoda Octavia RS back in January at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, though the company hasn’t confirmed its launch date yet. However, Skoda has officially started accepting bookings for this performance sedan, which continues to maintain its exclusivity. Here’s what you need to know about the Octavia RS.

Compared to the standard Octavia, the RS variant features a more aggressive design, including larger air intakes for better engine breathing, gloss black exterior accents, a honeycomb mesh grille, and bigger alloy wheels. It also sports ‘RS’ badges at the rear and black-finished exhaust tips. Inside, it offers sporty seats with contrast stitching, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and a digital instrument cluster. The dashboard centers around a touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Performance-wise, the Octavia RS is limited to a top speed of 250 km/h and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.4 seconds. Safety is prioritized, with multiple airbags, driver-assist features like fatigue detection, automatic and remote parking, plus traction and stability control, ABS, and EBD.
