Jadeja Gets Only 3 Overs: Ashwin Blasts Riyan Parag’s Leadership vs KKR

Ravichandran Ashwin, the veteran Indian cricketer, has criticized Rajasthan Royals’ captain Riyan Parag following their match against Kolkata Knight Riders. In a statement, Ashwin expressed his disapproval of Riyan’s leadership during the match.
He pointed out that during a critical phase of the game, Ravindra Jadeja was not given the ball to bowl. Despite having Jadeja in the team, Riyan did not utilize him at a time when his experience was most needed. Instead, Riyan gave the ball to other bowlers, a move that backfired as they conceded runs.
Ashwin strongly criticized this decision by the captain. He mentioned that when a world-class bowler like Jadeja is available, he should be utilized effectively. He noted that Riyan only allowed Jadeja to bowl 3 overs, during which he gave away very few runs and took a wicket. Despite this, he was not given his full quota of overs.
