Siliguri Warriors Clinch MHAD International Cricket Championship Title in Thrilling Final

Under the initiative of the Assam-Bengal border’s Srirampur-based Hawaipur Sports Club and in collaboration with the MHAD Sporting Academy, the final match of the 4th Annual MHAD International Championship Cricket tournament was held today. The final match took place between the Siliguri Warriors and Hawaipur Super Kings.
In the match, the Siliguri Warriors batted first and set a target of 160 runs for the Hawaipur team. Chasing the target, the Hawaipur team was bowled out for 145 runs in 15 overs. Consequently, the Siliguri Warriors won the match by 15 runs and secured the title.
The final match was attended by Sajal Singha, an executive member of the Srirampur Constituency Council, and Ujjal Das, a prominent social worker, as distinguished guests. In the presentation ceremony following the match, trophies and prize money were distributed to both the champion and runner-up teams of the MHAD International Cricket Championship by the guests. The Siliguri Warriors earned the best player honor for the tournament, while the final match’s Man of the Match was awarded to Arun Singha.
