Vaibhav Suryavanshi in India ‘A’ Squad; Riyan Parag Given Vice-Captaincy
Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been rewarded for his excellent performance for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. The 15-year-old teenager has earned a spot in the India ‘A’ squad. Until now, he had played for India’s U-19 and Emerging teams.
Next month, India ‘A’ will play a tri-nation One-Day series against Sri Lanka. The third team in this series is Afghanistan. The tournament will begin on June 9, following the conclusion of the IPL.
Riyan Parag has been appointed as the Vice-Captain of the India ‘A’ team. The son of Assam has been leading the Rajasthan team in the IPL. The captain of the squad is Tilak Varma.
