Bangladesh is smelling victory on the very third day of the second Test against Pakistan. Taking a 46-run lead in the first innings, Bangladesh scored 390 runs in their second innings.
At the foundation of this massive score were attractive innings of 137 runs by Mushfiqur Rahim, 69 runs by Litton Das, and 52 runs by Mahmudul Hasan Joy. For Pakistan, Khurram Shahzad took four wickets and Sajid Khan took three wickets.
Bangladesh’s overall lead is 436 runs. Facing two overs of bowling towards the end of today’s play, Pakistan did not score a single run. Over the next two days, it will not be easy for Pakistan to chase down the massive target of 436 runs.
