iPhone 18 Pro Max Leaks India Launch Timeline Battery and Price Details Surface

As Apple’s next flagship cycle approaches, fresh leaks have provided a comprehensive look at the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro Max. While the official unveiling is still months away, current reports suggest that Apple will stick to its traditional September 2026 launch window, placing the India release roughly five months from now. The new Pro Max model is expected to be a powerhouse, potentially featuring a larger 5,100mAh to 5,200mAh battery, which may result in the device becoming the heaviest iPhone to date, exceeding 240 grams. Design tweaks are also rumored, with a significantly smaller Dynamic Island or even a hole-punch cutout, as Apple reportedly works on moving Face ID components beneath the display.  

In terms of pricing and performance, the iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to start between ₹1,49,900 and ₹1,59,900 in India, maintaining a similar price bracket to its predecessor despite rising component costs. Under the hood, the device will likely debut the A20 Pro chip, built on TSMC’s advanced 2-nanometer process, which promises major efficiency gains and enhanced AI capabilities. Photography enthusiasts can also look forward to a potential variable aperture lens for the main camera, allowing for more professional-grade control over depth and light. As the September event nears, these leaks suggest that Apple is focusing on “under-the-hood” power and refined screen real estate for its 2026 flagship.
