Meghalaya CM Unveils New Block Office at Bhoirymbong
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma announced on Thursday the launch of the Bhoirymbong Community and Rural Development (C&RD) Block’s new Block Office facilities. Bah Colbert Shadap, an officer of the Indo-Pakistan Wars of 1965 and 1971, attended the ceremony and was invited to officially open the structure.
Speaking about the occasion on his own social media site, the Chief Minister remarked that the choice to include community people in the inauguration demonstrates the government’s dedication to public service.
Sangma also emphasized on the state government’s continuous efforts to improve block offices around Meghalaya. He stated that improving infrastructure is critical not just for providing government services more effectively, but also for inspiring administrative personnel operating in rural regions.
