Olympic Day Run 2025 Led By Mizoram CM In Aizawl
The Olympic Day Run 2025 was conducted by the Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma on Sunday at the famous Lammual Ground in Aizawl. Hundreds of locals enthusiastically participated in the event, which was organized by the Mizoram Olympic Association. The goal of the run, which was a part of the global Olympic Day celebrations honoring the International Olympic Committee’s founding, was to inspire every person to take an additional step toward wellness and physical activity.
Speaking to the crowd, Chief Minister Lalduhoma—who was joined by Sports Minister Lalnghinglova Hmar—highlighted the benefits of physical fitness and the global principles of the Olympic movement. According to the Chief Minister, the Olympic Day Run is about more than just running. “It’s about celebrating health and the spirit of sportsmanship.” I urge all Mizoram residents to engage in physical activity on a daily basis—not only today, but each and every day.
Cultural performances, fitness demonstrations, and a statement from the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) encouraging people to adopt the Olympic principles of excellence and respect were also included in the Olympic Day Run 2025 in Aizawl city. With officials and citizens uniting to celebrate not only a day of running but a lifestyle rooted in fitness and principles that transcend the finish line, the event demonstrated Mizoram’s growing dedication to health and sports.
