OnePlus Nord 6 Launched Mid-Range Maestro Features 9,000 mAh Battery and 165Hz Display

OnePlus has officially disrupted the mid-range smartphone market with the global launch of the OnePlus Nord 6, which debuted on April 7, 2026. Shifting the focus toward extreme endurance and ultra-fluid performance, the latest entrant in the Nord series boasts a record-breaking 9,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery—the largest ever seen in a mainstream consumer smartphone. To complement this massive power reservoir, OnePlus has also introduced a 6.78-inch “Sunburst HDR” AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,600 nits. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, the device is engineered for “PC-level” 165 FPS gaming, supported by a dedicated Touch Reflex Chip and a graphene cooling system to manage thermals during high-intensity tasks.

The OnePlus Nord 6 is priced starting at ₹38,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, while the 12GB+256GB model is available for ₹41,999. Launch offers, including a ₹3,000 instant bank discount from Axis and HDFC, bring the effective starting price down to ₹35,999. In addition to its powerhouse battery and display, the phone features a 50MP Sony LYTIA-600 main camera with dual-axis OIS, military-grade durability with IP69K ratings, and 80W SuperVOOC fast charging that can fully replenish the massive cell in approximately 70 minutes. Available in Fresh Mint, Holographic Quick Silver, and Pitch Black, the Nord 6 officially goes on sale in India on April 9, 2026, via Amazon and the official OnePlus store.
