Samsung Galaxy S26 Leak Reveals Design Overhaul and 25W Qi2 Magnetic Charging

Leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, shared by tipster Evan Blass, suggest a fresh design direction for the upcoming flagship lineup expected in February 2026. The standard Galaxy S26 and S26+ models appear to feature a redesigned, pill-shaped camera module housing a triple-lens setup, while the Ultra model retains its quad-camera configuration with three lenses integrated into a similar island. All three handsets are expected to feature sleek metal frames, hole-punch displays with slim bezels, and consistent button placement on the right side, maintaining a premium aesthetic across the range.

Beyond the aesthetics, a significant hardware upgrade has been teased through leaked images of Samsung’s new “Magnet Wireless Charger Qi2 25W.” This indicates that the Galaxy S26 series will likely support the Qi2 magnetic wireless charging standard, similar to Apple’s MagSafe technology. While the new puck-style charger is rated for 25W, reports suggest that only the Galaxy S26 Ultra may fully utilize this 25W speed, while the standard and Plus models might be capped at 20W. This transition to Qi2 would provide more secure alignment and faster wireless charging compared to previous generations.
