Yezdi Roadster Clinches Bike Design of the Year Award for Its Bold Evolution

The Yezdi Roadster has added another prestigious accolade to its cabinet, winning the ‘Bike Design of the Year’ award from carandbike. This latest honor follows its previous success at the Zee Media Auto Awards, where it was named the ‘Best 350cc Motorcycle.’ Classic Legends co-founder Boman Irani received the award from Thomas Dal, Dean of the Strate School of Design India. The recognition celebrates the Roadster’s “Born Out of Line” philosophy, which reimagines the classic roadster silhouette with muscular proportions and a modular versatility that sets it apart in a crowded market.

The award highlights the bike’s successful blend of cruiser aesthetics with daily-use ergonomics, featuring a distinctive low-and-long stance and a signature 12.5-liter fuel tank that honors Yezdi’s decades-old visual heritage. Beyond its striking looks, the Roadster is engineered for performance and rider comfort, boasting a liquid-cooled 350cc Alpha2 engine and a segment-first 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch. With its optimized seat height and generous ground clearance, the Roadster is designed to offer a premium, “design-first” experience that appeals to both nostalgic fans and modern riders seeking a bold on-road presence.
