OnePlus Nord CE 6 Series Set for India Launch with Massive 8,000mAh Battery

OnePlus has officially confirmed that the Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite will launch in India on May 7, 2026. Positioning the series as a “heavyweight upgrade,” the brand is focusing on extreme battery life and durability to capture the mid-range market. The standard Nord CE 6 is confirmed to feature a massive 8,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging claiming over 2.5 days of usage while the Lite variant will house a still-impressive 7,000mAh battery. Both devices will be available via Amazon, marking the return of the “Lite” branding after it was skipped in the previous generation.

Performance-wise, the Nord CE 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset paired with a dedicated “Touch Reflex” chip to enhance gaming responsiveness. It will sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits of peak brightness. Meanwhile, the Nord CE 6 Lite is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor. Notably, OnePlus is bringing top-tier durability to the series, with the Nord CE 6 carrying an IP69K rating for high-pressure water resistance and MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification, ensuring the phones are built to withstand harsh environmental conditions.
