Nagaon Struggles to 83/8 Against Tinsukia in Rain-Hampered Match
In an Elite Group match of the ongoing Nuruddin Ahmed Cricket Tournament held at the Furkating Stadium between Tinsukia and Nagaon, Nagaon scored 83 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 38 overs in their first innings.
Due to rain interruptions, Nagaon started their first innings after the lunch break. With the help of Pranjit Bora’s 35 (not out) and Chiranjib Kaushik’s 23 runs, the team managed to reach 83 runs for 8 wickets.
From the Tinsukia side, Abir Chakraborty took 4 wickets, while Abhay Shah and Raj Agarwal claimed 2 wickets each.
