Assam Storms into Finals: Beats Manipur by 99 Runs in NE Little Masters Cricket Tournament

Assam has entered the final of the 2nd annual North-East Little Masters Cricket tournament for boys under 14 years, currently being held in Agartala. In the semi-final held today, Assam defeated Manipur by a margin of 99 runs.
Batting first, Assam scored 174 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 40 overs. Key contributors included Dishant Dibon Das with an unbeaten 64, Ayan Arjun with 32, and Kaustav Gogoi with 29 runs.
For Manipur, KH Firdous took three wickets, while Rahul Thongam and Punshiba took two wickets each.
Chasing the target, Manipur struggled against the impressive bowling of Tanbir Islam. They were bowled out for just 75 runs in 25 overs.
While Chagatpam Telheiba scored 20 runs for Manipur, Tanbir Islam dominated the game by taking 4 wickets for just 9 runs. Aniket Singh also contributed by taking 2 wickets for 7 runs.
