AITA Championship Super Series Kicks Off in Guwahati: 128 Players Vie for Top Spot

Organized by the Assam Tennis Association, the AITA Championship Super Series Tennis Tournament will commence this Monday in Guwahati. This All India Tennis Association national ranking tournament will be held at the Assam Tennis Association Training Center located in Chachal. According to Ankush Dutta, Secretary of the Assam Tennis Association, players from 9 states, including Assam, have already confirmed their participation in the Under-14 and Under-16 categories for both boys and girls.
Participating states are Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Maharashtra (along with host Assam). 128 participants across all categories. Singles and doubles matches for boys and girls in both age groups. Following two days of qualifying rounds, the main draw singles matches will begin tomorrow morning. Doubles matches are scheduled to start in the afternoon.
