Mangaldai Rongali Bihu Meet: Golaghat, Darang Runners Take Marathon Crowns

Organised by the 72nd All Mangaldai Rongali Bihu Celebration Committee, the All Assam Marathon Competition was held today. Tirthaswar Kurmi of Golaghat in the Navar (New) category and Rudreswar Dekari of Darang in the veteran category secured the top positions.
The physical instructor of the youth welfare office, Debendra Baruah, flagged off the race at 5:00 AM today from the historic Shivasagar pond premises. In this competition, Tirthaswar Kurmi finished the race in 1 hour and 20 minutes to claim the title.
