Shubman Gill’s Brilliant 84 Powers GT to 77-Run Win Over RR

Gujarat Titans’ captain Shubman Gill revealed he suffered an ankle injury while scoring 84 off 44 balls against Rajasthan Royals. Despite the pain, he continued batting and helped GT win by 77 runs.
Gill’s innings included 9 fours and 3 sixes, showcasing his focus and aggressive approach. He shared a 118-run opening stand with Sai Sudharsan (55).
GT posted 229/4, and RR were bowled out for 152 in 16.3 overs. Rashid Khan (4/33) and Jason Holder (3/12) were instrumental in the win.
Gill praised his team’s performance, saying, “We got 10-15 runs extra. It was a perfect match for us.”
