Assam Football Loses Veteran: Goutam Dutta, 63, Dies of Cardiac Arrest

Ex-footballer, Dynamo Club and Guwahati Sports Association organiser passes away at Nemcare Hospital.
Assam’s sporting fraternity is mourning the sudden loss of Goutam Dutta, former footballer and noted organiser. Dutta, 63, died today at Nemcare Hospital in Guwahati following cardiac arrest.

A prominent figure in local football, he was an active member of both the Guwahati Sports Association and the well-known Dynamo Club. Recognised for his talent from his school days, Dutta had played for Arya Vidyapeeth School in the Subroto Cup Football tournament at the national level in Delhi.
After retiring as a player, he dedicated himself to sports administration and remained closely involved with the Guwahati Sports Association and Dynamo Club as a distinguished organiser.
