Golden Jubilee Volleyball: Guwahati Beat Tezpur 3-1, Lakhi Spikers Win Five-Set Thriller

The Assam Volleyball Mission-100 initiative and the Donyi Sporting Foundation have jointly organised the Under-16 BVL Plus Challenger Volleyball Tournament at the Guwahati Volleyball Training Centre grounds, to mark the golden jubilee celebrations of the Guwahati Volleyball Training Centre.

On the second day of the tournament, Guwahati defeated Tezpur 23-25, 25-21, 25-17 and 25-20. Golaghat beat Enajori Bongali Fieri Assam 25-22, 17-25, 25-22 and 25-19 to enter the next round.

Today, Enajori will face Golaghat in the boys’ section. In the girls’ category, Enajori Bongali Fieri Assam defeated Golaghat 25-1, 25-13 and 25-9. Unified Spikers Tezpur beat Tezpur 25-20, 25-21 and 25-24.

Lakhi Spikers Lakhimpur beat Bongali Fieri Assam 23-25, 25-21, 25-15, 25-17 and 15-13. Jayant Sharma, Secretary of Assam Volleyball Mission-100, said the next round of matches will begin tomorrow.
