All-Assam Yoga Competition Organized at Simluguri
Under the joint auspices of the World Fitness Federation Yoga Assam Branch, Niramoy Yoga Center, Balighat, and Patanjali Yuva Bharat, an All-Assam Yoga Competition has been organized at the Jyoti Vivah Bhawan near Simluguri town with a day-long program on May 17. This yoga competition, organized in various categories, will feature participants ranging from children to senior citizens across 12 different age groups.
The event will begin in the morning with the hoisting of the World Fitness Federation Yoga Assam Branch flag. Following the flag-hoisting ceremony by the celebration committee, the lamp will be lit by Sati Joymoti Yoga College Principal, Devadas Sinha. Additionally, the Sivasagar District Yoga Sports Association President, Jagat Chutia, will officially inaugurate the competition.
Several distinguished guests are expected to attend the inaugural ceremony. Today, at a press conference held at the Niramoy Yoga Center in Simluguri, Balighat, the organizers provided details regarding the upcoming competition. The press conference was attended by the celebration committee’s secretary, Jyoti Duwarah, official secretary Devananda Phukan, Niramoy Yoga Center director Binita Rajkumari, and other officials of the celebration committee.
