FIDE Rating for 9 Players

Players from the Nalbari Chess Academy have once again brought laurels to Nalbari. Nine players from the academy have managed to secure international FIDE ratings in the rapid format of the World Chess Federation.
They are: Dhyanmoy Sharma (Rating: 1683), Debakinkar Kalita (Rating: 1552), Anuragpal Baishya (Rating: 1548, Priyanuj Kalita (Rating: 1475, Mridumugdha Kalita (Rating: 1459 , Rajdeep Sharma (Rating: 1458), Daisy Haloi (Rating: 1447), Prachurjya Raj Kalita (Rating: 1431), Shyamal Kalita (Rating: 1421)
They secured these ratings based on their improved performance at the International FIDE Rapid Rating Tournament held in Barpeta. On this achievement, Kishore Kumar Deka, General Secretary of the Nalbari District Chess Association, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the players.
