Former ITF Director Anil Khanna Lauds Olympic-Standard Facilities at Jorhat Swimming Society’s Water Sports Project

Veteran sports administrator Anil K. Khanna visited the Jorhat Swimming Society’s water sports project on Tuesday during a special itinerary in Assam.
Khanna, who has served as director of the International Tennis Federation, president of the Asian Tennis Federation, and held the roles of president, secretary, and treasurer of the All India Tennis Association, is also a former president and current executive member of the Indian Olympic Association.
After inspecting the facilities, Khanna said he was impressed to see an Olympic-standard swimming pool and gymnasium in Jorhat. He praised the pool officials and lauded the society members for their efforts in building and maintaining the infrastructure.
His visit highlights growing recognition for sports development projects in Assam beyond traditional hubs.
