Oppo Officially Confirms China Launch Date for Reno 16 Series Pad 6 and Enco Air 5s

Oppo has officially announced that it will debut its highly anticipated Reno 16 smartphone lineup in China on May 25, 2026, at 6:00 PM local time (3:30 PM IST). In a simultaneous announcement on Weibo, the tech giant confirmed that it will also unveil the Oppo Pad 6 tablet and the Oppo Enco Air 5s true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds at the same event. Pre-reservations for the devices have already commenced in its home market. Furthermore, leaks indicate that the Pro model will likely carry a starting price tag of approximately CNY 4,000 (roughly Rs. 56,000) and is expected to eventually roll out globally, including a prospective release in India.

Industry reports and leaks indicate a powerful array of specifications for the upcoming Reno 16 series, highlighting massive battery upgrades of up to 6,700mAh for the standard model and a 7,000mAh capacity for the Reno 16 Pro, both supporting 80W fast charging. The standard Reno 16 is rumored to sport a 6.32-inch 1.5K OLED flat display powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 processor, whereas the Pro variant may boast a larger 6.78-inch LTPO adaptive display coupled with a flagship Dimensity 9500s chipset. Both smartphones are heavily tipped to pack a top-tier camera ecosystem featuring a 200-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. Meanwhile, the accompanying Oppo Pad 6 tablet will feature a single rear camera and run an updated version of ColorOS.
