12 Teams, 7 Days: BBNL Challenge Series Kicks Off at Guwahati Indoor Stadium Tomorrow

Under the joint collaboration of Jyan-Bigyan Mission 2004 and Guwahati Taekwondo Training Centre, a selection camp and talent hunt for the BBNL Challenge Series will commence tomorrow (April 18) in Guwahati.
The organizers have informed that this is the first time such a high-profile series is being organized by the BBNL Challenge. Notably, the Jyan-Bigyan Mission 2004 has been conducting talent hunts across Assam for the past several years. Children and youth aged between 12 and 16 years are eligible to participate in this competition.
The primary selection process at the district level has already been completed.
The final stages will be held at the Guwahati Indoor Stadium.
A total of 12 teams from various districts will participate in this BBNL series.
Team Structure: Each team will consist of 3 to 4 players selected by the BBNL Commission.
The matches will be played in a League Format.
Schedule and Management:
The competitions will take place daily from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The organizers mentioned that several sports personalities and officials from the Assam Jyan-Bigyan Mission 2004 will be present to oversee the event.
The inaugural ceremony is scheduled for 12:00 PM tomorrow. High-profile guests, including representatives from the sports department and local administration, are expected to attend. The organizers have ensured that all necessary arrangements, including accommodation and uniforms for the players, are in place for the seven-day event.
Goal of the Series:
The primary objective of the BBNL Challenge Series is to identify and nurture young sporting talent from across the state and provide them with a platform to excel at higher levels. Abhijit Bhattacharya, the captain of the Indian Volleyball team and a key figure in this initiative, expressed hope that this series would significantly boost the confidence of young athletes in Assam.
